For the forthcoming Toy Fair in Nuremberg Wilesco is proud to present it’s new Steam Traction Engine with crane. The short roof combined with the special colour scheme and additional items such as the tyres give this engine an authentic historical look. The crane is fixed to the front axle and so is moved to the left and right with the steering. The hook can be lowered and raised by turning the hand wheel fitted to the jib. This new model extends the fascinating range of the Wilesco Steam Traction Engine line, Made in Germany.

Wilesco D 405 black boiler, diameter 1.8 , length 7.3 mm, boiler capacity 14 in, with water gauge glass. Double action reversible brass cylinder, with flywheel, spring loaded safety valve, steam regulator, steam whistle, steam jet oiler and footbridge. Smoke stack, traditional steering wheel chain drive. Flywheel with a diameter of 3.2" with grooved pulley. Clutch engaged gear wheel, permitting the use of the machine as a stationary steam engine. Operating time about 15 minutes per fuel charge. Anodized aluminum wheels. Finely painted, matching colors. Available in Blue/White or Brass/Black.
